Preparation is a critical part of nearly everything we do. Sure, spontaneity is great and adds an element of excitement. But the absence of intentionally working toward a goal can rob us of the richness of the fuller experience.
The season Advent in Christian Church circles is a time preparing. For four weeks the worshipping body of believers focuses on themes that center around the birth of Christ. This intentionality brings the event into clear focus, elevating its significance in our lives.
At Ekklesia, we will be using a variety of artistic and creative means to herald in the birth of our savior. We will celebrate Christmas Eve with a special worship service for the community. And hopefully this Christmas will be a bit more meaningful to us all because we have taken the time to prepare.
Join us for our community candlelight service this year at 5:30. We will gather in the gym at Patriot’s Park, and take a few moments to pause and worship the King. We would love to see you join us!
